Since all major decisions in society are made with the help of money, it essentially decides what society is like. Money influences what we do, what we buy and where we work.
The current accounting system is concerned primarily with profit maximization at any cost and the result is the worst ever economic crises, worldwide consumer culture, global poverty and more impending crises.
Ancient knowledge of east explains that the root of all other manmade crises, lie in polluted consciousness. For a harmonious and sustainable society we need an accounting system that looks beyond the 'green buck' and considers all the needs of the self.
Devamrita Swami, a monk, author and Yale graduate will present Yoga of money, a holistic approach to the crises that grips our world.
